Travel Blogs I Love To Follow

One of my favorite things about traveling is meeting new people along the way.

And when I can’t be traveling and meeting new people in person, I enjoy hearing their stories. So, to get my fix, I follow several other traveler accounts and blogs.

I love getting their first-person perspectives on where to go and what to do. Browsing travel blogs is my favorite trip planning complement to reading a guidebook.

View the accounts—big and small—that I love to follow below.

Christine’s Travel Gems

Travel is more than just a passion for Christine; it’s an obsession. In 2018, Christine and her husband moved to Germany, discovering a whole new world of adventure through travel in Europe.

When Christine plans her trips, she is always looking for “What makes this location unique?” “What can we see or do in this location that we can’t see or do anywhere else in the world?” She doesn’t want to just go to a place, she wants to experience all it has to offer and leave knowing more than when she first arrived. To learn more about Christine, check out my Q&A with her, visit her website, or follow along on any of her social media channels shared below.

Just One For The Road

With over 30 years in the travel industry, Rupert, the founder of the Just One For The Road blog, did the same thing I did when life hands you lemons during the pandemic – start a travel blog.

Living in the U.K., Rupert combines his extensive international experience and intimate understanding of the travel industry and puts it to work in his impressive blog. Follow him there – or any of his social channels shared below.

Travel 80 By 80

Laura lives in San Diego and is a mom to two teens. Having always been a traveler at heart, Laura didn’t let having kids stop her from traveling. On a mission to reach 80 countries by 80 years old, Laura has currently traveled to 48 countries with her two kids (61 total for Laura).

She created her blog, Travel 80 by 80, to help families navigate international travel with confidence and purpose. To learn more about Laura, check out my Q&A with her, visit her website, or follow along on any of her social media channels shared below.

Veggies Abroad

Rebecca created Veggies Abroad, to help people not only find great things to do and ways around cities around the globe but also find the best vegan food. It was borne from her love of travel and the question she gets asked after every trip, “What in the world did you eat?!”

Even though I am not vegan, I enjoy eating excellent vegan and vegetarian food. So, I appreciate that Rebecca wants to show people all the amazing vegan food the world has to offer because a great way to enjoy a new destination is through food! So, she created Veggies Abroad as a vegan travel blog specializing in vegan travel guides, practical travel tips, and resources. To learn more about Rebecca, check out my Q&A with her, visit her website, or follow along on any of her social media channels shared below.
